Ishurdi EPZ was inaugarated in 2001

.Ishurdi can be the hub of trade and commercial activity as it is connected with Dhaka,Chittagong and Khulna,both rail and road .

The road through Paksey rail colony.The age old rain trees reminds us the British Raj days.

Beside this road you will see the graveyard of five martyrs from the Liberation war 1971.

The Bangladesh railway western-zone office is situated.
A small railway  museum is open on the week days.
