Concise History 

Pabna stadium was established on the 22nd August 1958,
named after Mr.Jinnah,founder of the then Pakistan.

Pabna District Sports Association(DSA) was formed on 18th February 1992

The Pabna Stadium Complex comprises One outdoor stadium,one indoor swimming pool,one outdoor basketground and one small indoor stadium.

 

The Golden Era

From 1982 to1992 Pabna District has contributed the nation  uninterruptedly  in almost every event of Sports.

Stars in the International Arena

Bangladesh won gold medal in 10m air rifle shooting in the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester UK.Mr.Asif Hossain Khan of Bangladesh Krira Sikhkha Protishthan(BKSP)  achieved such only victory for Bangladesh in recent years.

Bangladesh won 7 gold medals in the 3rd SAF Shooting Championship held in Karachi, Pakistan between 1-7 November 2000. And Pabna Rifle Club Shooter Mr.Khondokar Majid Mohammad Johnny is one of the participants who has contributed successfully for winning 3 gold in the Junior Group.
