Diverse Exhibitions in Pabna

Autumn,winter and spring are the suitable seasons for outer activities.Exhibitions are mostly arranged between Nov.-March.

Mini International Trade Fair:A 2 weeklong fair arranged in the 21st July in Banamali
Complex.

Computer Exhibition:Took place on the 2-4 March,2000. Arranged by
Takeplus Computers

Short film festivals:17-21st October 2000.Arranged by Crystal Film Society in collaboration with Jahir Raihan
Film Society,this year they have shown Children of heaven(Iran),Chorus(Iran),Mission Impossible-2(USA),Aranyer Din Ratri(India),Sraban Megher Din(Bangladesh).Ticket price was BDT10.

Floral Exhibition,introduced by late Mr.Jafar of Jantrik(an Engineering Workshop), is arranged in every winter.

This year's Exhibition took place on between 22-26th of January, and this is for the 11th year of this exhibition.

Quite large number of visitors from different parts of the district come to enjoy this unique exhibition.

About 200-300 species of winter flowers both indigenous and non-indegenous are brought here.Also cactus,bonsai,palm,caicus are seen here.The participants are infact specialist in growing different types of flowers.Following are the name of this year's participants and their contribution:

The youngest participant Master Sumit has provided the Exhibition with his invaluable bonsaies from his different ages-Bonsai Karamcha(an indigenous citrus fruit tree) since his 7,Bonsai Edinium since his 9 and Bonsai Benyan since his 13 year's age.

On the event of International Mother Language day 21st Feb.(Shahid Dibash)a weeklong
Book-exhibition is arranged on the Pabna Zilla school ground.

Pabna Children's Park with newly installed carousel

Pabna Children's Park is inaugarated recently.Situated beside Durjoy Pabna(opposite to the Municipality bldg.),it has fullfilled the long cherished wish for the youngsters.Only taka three for the Merry-go-round,otherwise no entrance fee.Cafe,studio etc. are available.
