Bharara Mosque,Pabna,Bangladesh

About 15km SE of Pabna town and on the bank of the Padma(Ganges).It has the unique history of surviving the mighty Padma.Special prayers takes place on every Thursday evening,open for both Hindus and Muslims.

Ther original wall that saved the mosque from the devouring Padma is seen in the near bottom foreground

	It is a scripture in Persian,inside the mosque stating: This mosque was established in the reign of(Mughal) Emperor Shah Alam in 1176 Hizri(circa 1756-'59 A.D) by Asalat Khan,son of Daulat Khan.
